Whip up better-than-takeout Beef & Shrimp Lo Mein in 30 minutes! Tender flank steak, juicy shrimp, and chewy noodles tossed in a rich umami sauce with crisp veggies. A restaurant-quality meal made easy at home!

Ingredients
For the Noodles & Protein:
- 12 oz lo mein noodles (or spaghetti)
- 8 oz flank steak, thinly sliced
- 8 oz shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (divided)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
For the Vegetables:
- 1 bell pepper, julienned
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
For the Sauce:
- 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ cup chicken/vegetable broth
Garnish:
- Green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds
Instructions
1️⃣ Prep Proteins:
- Toss beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Pat shrimp dry, season lightly with salt.
2️⃣ Cook Noodles:
- Boil noodles 1 minute less than package instructions. Drain, rinse with cold water, and toss with 1 tsp oil to prevent sticking.
3️⃣ Stir-Fry:
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok over high heat. Sear beef 1-2 minutes per side. Remove.
- Add shrimp, cook 1-2 minutes until pink. Remove.
- Add remaining oil. Sauté garlic, ginger, and veggies for 2 minutes.
4️⃣ Combine:
- Add noodles, proteins, and sauce. Toss 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
5️⃣ Serve:
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
