  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Sweet paprika (to taste)
  • Italian herbs mix (optional)
  • 4 teaspoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • Fresh dill (chopped)
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

For the Potato Patty (Optional Side):

  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Parsley (chopped)

🥄 For the Creamy Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • Chopped dill
  • Salt and black pepper

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken Mixture
In a bowl, add finely chopped or shredded cooked chicken fillets. Add salt, pepper, sweet paprika, herbs, egg, flour, breadcrumbs, onions, garlic, and dill. Mix well until everything is combined.

Step 2: Shape the Patties
Form small to medium-sized patties using your hands. Make sure they’re not too thick so they cook through quickly.

Step 3: Fry Until Golden
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Fry the chicken patties on medium heat for about 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Step 4: Optional – Prepare the Potato Patty
Peel and grate the potatoes and carrot. Squeeze out excess water. In a bowl, mix grated vegetables with salt, pepper, egg yolk, cornstarch, and parsley. Form into patties and fry like the chicken patties until golden.

Step 5: Make the Creamy Sauce
In a small bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and fresh dill. Chill until serving.

Step 6: Serve & Enjoy
Serve the chicken patties warm with potato patties on the side, drizzled with the creamy sauce. Great with a side salad or crusty bread!

📝 Tips:

  • You can bake the patties instead of frying for a healthier version.
  • Use leftover chicken to save time.
  • These patties make great sandwiches or wraps when served with lettuce and tomato.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat in a pan or oven.
