Whether it’s a weekday or weekend, this recipe will win hearts at your family table!

✅ Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken fillets
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Sweet paprika (to taste)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4–5 mushrooms, sliced
  • 100 g cheese (any melting cheese like mozzarella or cheddar)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Bacon slices (enough to wrap each roll)
  • Olive oil (for frying)
  • 5 potatoes (for serving)
  • 100 ml milk (optional, for creamy sauce)
  • Dill (optional, for garnish)

🥗 For the Fresh Salad:

  • Mixed salad greens
  • ½ cucumber, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • ½ bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tsp French mustard
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Olive oil

👨‍🍳 Instructions:

Step 1: Season & Stuff the Chicken
Season chicken fillets with salt, pepper, and sweet paprika. In a bowl, mix onions, garlic, mushrooms, cheese, and parsley. Spread this mixture evenly over each chicken fillet.

Step 2: Roll & Wrap
Roll up each chicken fillet tightly and secure with toothpicks if needed. Wrap each roll with bacon slices to add flavor and crispiness.

Step 3: Sear the Rolls
In a skillet, heat olive oil. Sear the chicken rolls on all sides until golden brown. Transfer to an oven-safe dish.

Step 4: Bake Until Tender
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and the filling is bubbly.

Step 5: Prepare the Side Potatoes
Peel and cut the potatoes into wedges or cubes. Toss with salt, pepper, and olive oil, then roast alongside the chicken for a crispy side.

Step 6: Make the Creamy Sauce (Optional)
Mix milk with a pinch of salt and dill. Drizzle over the chicken or serve on the side.

Step 7: Assemble the Plate
Serve hot with roasted potatoes and a fresh garden salad dressed with mustard, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

📝 Tips:

  • Substitute the mushrooms with spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for variety.
  • Add a splash of cream or sour cream to the sauce for extra richness.
  • These rolls can be prepped ahead and refrigerated before baking.
  • Leftovers store well in the fridge and reheat beautifully in the oven.
