Sun-Blushed Tomato & Burrata Pizza (Italian Summer Delight)

Savor the taste of an Italian summer with this vibrant tomato pizza—wood-fired style thin crust topped with sweet sun-blushed tomatoes, creamy burrata, fresh basil, and a balsamic glaze. A 15-minute gourmet masterpiece!

Ingredients

For the Dough (or use store-bought):

  • 1 lb pizza dough (or make your own with 2 cups “00” flour, 1 tsp yeast, ¾ cup water, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp salt)

For the Toppings:

  • ½ cup San Marzano tomato passata
  • 1 cup sun-blushed tomatoes (or cherry tomatoes halved)
  • 1 ball (8 oz) burrata cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Flaky sea salt

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep Dough:

  • Stretch dough to 12″ round. Place on parchment.

2️⃣ Assemble:

  • Spread passata thinly. Scatter sun-blushed tomatoes.
  • Bake at 475°F (245°C) on a pizza stone for 8-10 mins until crust blisters.

3️⃣ Finish:

  • Tear burrata over hot pizza. Add basil, drizzle with balsamic and oil. Sprinkle salt.
