Ingredients
For the Dough (Makes 2 pizzas):
- 3½ cups bread flour
- 1¼ cups warm water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1½ tsp salt
For the Toppings:
- 1 cup San Marzano tomato sauce
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
- Fresh basil leaves
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan
- Olive oil drizzle
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
1️⃣ Make Dough:
- Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Wait 5 mins until foamy.
- Mix flour and salt. Add yeast mixture + olive oil. Knead for 5 mins.
- Let rise for 1 hour (or overnight in fridge).
2️⃣ Prep & Bake:
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone/upside-down tray.
- Roll dough thin. Spread sauce, add mozzarella, and bake for 10-12 mins until bubbly and golden.
