Honey-Almond Stuffed Croissant Pastry (5-Ingredient Dessert)


Transform store-bought croissants into an elegant French dessert with this easy hack! Flaky croissants stuffed with almond cream, drizzled with honey, and toasted to golden perfection. Perfect with coffee or as a dinner party finale.

Ingredients

  • 4 day-old croissants (slightly stale works best)
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 3 tbsp softened butter
  • 2 tbsp honey (+ extra for drizzling)
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: Sliced almonds for crunch

Instructions

1️⃣ Make Almond Filling:

  • Mix almond flour, butter, 1 tbsp honey, and vanilla into a paste.

2️⃣ Stuff & Press:

  • Slice croissants horizontally (don’t cut through). Spread filling inside.
  • Gently press to flatten slightly.

3️⃣ Crisp & Glaze:

  • Heat a dry pan over medium. Place croissants cut-side down, weigh with a lid, and toast for 2-3 mins until golden.
  • Flip, drizzle with honey, and toast another 1 min.

4️⃣ Serve Warm:

  • Top with extra honey and almonds. Pair with vanilla ice cream!
