Ingredients:
For the Crust:
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
- 3-4 tbsp ice water
For the Filling:
- 6 oz bacon, diced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 3 large eggs
- 1 ¼ cups heavy cream
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese (or Swiss cheese)
Instructions:

- In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Gradually add ice water, 1 tbsp at a time, until dough forms.
- Roll into a disk, wrap in plastic, and chill for 30 minutes.
