For the Cake:
- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1½ cups (300g) granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups (375g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
Optional Glaze:
- 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prep & Mix:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch bundt pan or loaf pan.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (3-4 mins).
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
2️⃣ Dry Ingredients:
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Alternate adding flour mixture and milk to butter mixture, beginning and ending with flour.
3️⃣ Bake:
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Smooth top.
