Crunchy Homemade Muesli Cereal (5-Minute Breakfast)

Start your day right with this nutrient-packed homemade muesli—a toasted blend of oats, nuts, seeds, and dried fruits. No added sugar, fully customizable, and perfect with yogurt or milk for a quick, energizing breakfast!

Ingredients

Base:

  • 3 cups rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
  • ½ cup almonds, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup walnuts or pecans
  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 tbsp flaxseeds or chia seeds

Sweetener & Spice:

  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Add After Baking:

  • ½ cup dried cranberries or raisins
  • ¼ cup unsweetened coconut flakes

Instructions

1️⃣ Toast Dry Ingredients:

  • Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • Mix oats, nuts, and seeds on a baking sheet. Drizzle with honey, coconut oil, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Toss well.

2️⃣ Bake:

  • Spread evenly and bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway, until golden.

3️⃣ Cool & Mix:

  • Let cool completely, then stir in dried fruit and coconut.

4️⃣ Store:

  • Keep in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

To Serve:

  • Top with Greek yogurt, fresh berries, and a drizzle of honey.
