🍲 Beef & Broccoli Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 4):

  • 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce or tamari (for gluten-free)
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • Optional: green onions & sesame seeds for garnish

🔪 Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned (about 3–4 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add another tbsp oil. Toss in broccoli and stir-fry for 3–5 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  4. Return beef to the skillet. Pour sauce over and stir everything together. If desired, stir in cornstarch to thicken the sauce slightly.
  5. Cook another 2 minutes, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot over rice, quinoa, or cauliflower rice.
