Ingredients
For the Platter:
- 1 cup hummus (store-bought or homemade)
- 8-10 falafel (crispy or baked)
- 200g halloumi cheese, grilled
- 1 cup marinated olives (Kalamata & green)
- 12 stuffed grape leaves (dolmades)
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 red onion, thinly pickled*
- 2 pita breads, warmed
For the Pickled Onions (*optional):
- 1 red onion, sliced
- ½ cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
Dips & Extras:
- Tzatziki sauce
- Harissa paste
- Lemon wedges
- Fresh mint & parsley
Instructions
1️⃣ Quick-Pickle Onions (15 mins):
- Heat vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Pour over onions. Let sit.
2️⃣ Grill Halloumi:
- Slice cheese, grill 2 mins per side until golden.
3️⃣ Assemble Platter:
